Background and History

The history of the Plexus Group can be traced back to 31 October 1997 when Plexus was incorporated in Singapore to commence the business of distribution of passive components, including electrolyte capacitors, multi-layer chip capacitors and chip resistors.   From a distributor of passive components, Plexus has grown into a regional distributor and manufacturer’s representative of a wide range of electronic components. In addition, Plexus also provides value added services to its customers in the form of design and development services, which in turn enhances the demand for Plexus’ product offerings. The Plexus Group’s principals and customers now span across Asia, including Singapore, India, PRC, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia.

Corporate Profile

We are principally engaged in distribution of passive and active electronic components to electronics manufacturers, which includes original equipment manufacturers ("OEM") and electronics manufacturing services providers ("EMS").  We also provide value-added services in engineering designs and vendor-managed inventory (“VMI”). 

We have a sales network of 14 regional offices, serving more than 1000 customers.  Our distribution centres are located in Singapore and Shenzhen.   We employ over 100 staff across Asia.
